With the start of the cool weather comes the preparation for indoor holiday entertaining.  Thanksgiving is just around the corner, and we all know how quickly Christmas sneaks up after that!  YIKES.  Yes.  I just said CHRISTMAS.  In October…

The items on this weeks wish list include functional and decorative goodies for your upcoming holiday feasts and guest entertainment.

1. chuck wood storage CB2  2. kitchen paper West Elm   3. shanna murray salad plates West Elm  4. woodland animal place card holders Pottery Barn  5. faux harvest woven pumpkin Pottery Barn

For those of you who enjoy the comforts of a wood burning fireplace this is a PERFECT storage solution for those cumbersome logs.  It holds a good amount of firewood, and is pretty easy on the eyes.  Sturdy, functional, and gorgeous.  You can’t lose.  It won’t take long to get that fire roaring for holiday guests.

For those family dinners that are a little less fancy this disposable table runner might just do the trick.  West Elm now has a quirky kitchen paper.  It will add loads of visual interest to your table, without messing up your fine linens!

I was tempted by these salad plates during my last visit to West Elm.  They definitely wouldn’t break the bank and could be added at each place setting.  Those sweet messages capture that holiday vibe.

I am not quite sure what it is about these place card holders, but I especially like that little fox!  They are great for a family dinner.  Sophisticated enough for an adults setting, and certainly interesting enough for the kids to enjoy!

And of course, HOW could you possibly entertain during the holidays without some pumpkins.  These woven ones are just trendy enough with their nod to the popular chevron pattern.
