Hi everyone!! YAY!! It’s Friday! And? It looks like its going to be an awesome weekend in our neck of the woods! Here are a few things that have brought even just a little bit of happiness into my life this week;
1. I have been patiently waiting for packages this week! And one of them arrived! What a package it was! I had a Stella and Dot party a few weeks ago, and all my orders came in. (For those of you who don’t know about Stella and Dot jewelry check out the link here.) I have to tell you. The packaging is nearly as adorable as the jewelry! I am not even kidding. I seriously sat and took pictures of all the little boxes for 15 minutes before I even opened them up to see my treasures.
I am SO impressed with this company. The quality of the product, the style, the PACKAGING. Hehe! I will be doing a full post on Stella and Dot, and the stylist who showed the product next week, so be sure to come back and check that out!
2. I’m finally making some head way on a new project I have been working on. Its super secret. Okay, its obviously not super secret otherwise I wouldn’t be posting sneak peek pictures…..or telling you that I even have a super secret project…..Ya, I’m like Jason Bourne sneaky…….I am just very excited about this new venture and I want to share! I promise I will tell you all the juicy details as soon as I can!
3. I watched this movie:
It was awesome. I was on the edge of my seat (yes, I read the book and I know what happens). I will probably watch it again. And yes, I am 12. I think is has more to do with escaping the things in life that drag you down by being excited about something as simple as a teen movie, than it has to do with whether I am team ‘Gale’ or team ‘Peeta” (I’m TOTALLY TEAM PEETA)……or then again maybe not. Don’t be judgey! I know you read/watched Harry Potter! 😉
4. Its allergy season. Ya, I KNOW. It’s terrible. It does NOT make me feel fine. BUT, you know what does!? My acupuncturist says that they can help alleviate symptoms! I am on board for that! I’m not able to take regular allergy medicine so I am really happy to see if this helps get me some relief!
Go ahead. List a few, simple things that happened in your week that made your heart feel lighter, made your grin a little larger, or made you forget your weighted worries, even for a minute. Just pausing to try and come up with a list really goes a long way to changing a weary mood into a more hopeful one. Sound silly? It really works. Coming from a true skeptic…..
