The quote of the week was this:

i just wanna

I was scrolling endlessly through Pinterest as we tend to do…and bumped into this poster.  Yep. Love it.  It quite simply boils all the chaos down to the ultimate goal.  Have you identified your ultimate goal?  Mine is truly basic: TO BE HAPPY. Find yours!  Keep it simple and gear all you do toward achieving that goal.  This poster speaks to my simple, ultimate goal.

We have been spending some summer days in a new and wonderful place.  My Dad bought a sailboat.  It has been a dream of his for as long as I can remember. Its just the right size,  ‘sea worthy’, and we love it.  HE loves it.  And I love that he does.  He has worked hard his whole life for our family and now its finally time for him to do something for himself.  It has beautiful carved wood trim, and Mom and I have some ideas up our sleeves to update the interior…I’ll be sure to share once we do!

The next thing on the list this week is ridiculous. Ridiculously AWESOME.  As you know, here on the LND blog we pause on Fridays just for a moment, to list a few things that brought happiness to the week.  This brought me about 8 minutes of intrigued happiness.  Totally useless, pointless, happiness. PLEASE GO TO THE LINK AND TRY IT.

Its an interactive guessing game.  Guess the city based on the Starbuck locations. I know. Ridiculous.  But fun.  Try it.

urban barn

In case you haven’t heard.  We are getting an Urban Barn here in London Town. It’s ALWAYS exciting to have a new place to source goods!  These are just a few of the things I’ll be checking out when I get there.  They are having their grand this Saturday, August 17th.  Will YOU be there?

How was your week, folks?  Have you made your mental list of things that made you happy this week?  Feel free to share the love in the comments!
