These projects are for the experienced, intrepid, and foolishly brave D.I.Y’ers. The crafty creators, the relentless makers, and those brave souls who DARE to take on that floor sander.

RENOVATING: IT’S ALL CONNECTED

THE HALL The messiest part of this project is OVER….and it actually ended up not being too bad.  Our decision to skim coat the terrible texture from the walls in the hall and up the stairs has paid off. These pictures do not do the change justice, but I can tell you, its the best change we’ve made in this space so far!! The carpet on the stairs and the railing are going, and the curved details on the stair…

PICKING UP WHERE WE LEFT OFF IN THE FOYER

Hello All!! I know I haven’t been around this week, lots of appointments and other obligations keeping me busy.  I did, however, make some time today to try a little DIY and wanted to share with you.  In my most recent issue of Style at Home there is a one page image of an easy Do-It-Yourself project, no instructions but it seemed fairly straight forward so I decided to give it a shot!  The goal is to take your average, everyday clay…
