On the North end of the city there is a new shop.
You may already be familiar with LeClair’s Mennonite Furniture at the corner of Richmond and Medway Road. They have been providing the city of London and surrounding area with quality Canadian hand crafted furniture for 9 years running. All of the pieces sold at LeClairs are collected from 30 different local Mennonite craftsmen. AND? All of these furniture pieces can be custom made to order. The size, material and finishes can be hand selected by you from multiple options.
Well, from this well established company providing quality custom furniture comes something new. Warehouse 74. The words; salvaged, reclaimed, vintage, and industrial flooded my mind as I entered their new shop located directly beside LeClair’s. Warehouse 74 is a fantastic shop with a curated selection of vintage industrial pieces for the home. Reclaimed wood meets iron and steel in dining tables and shelving units, vintage tin signs and marquee lights adorn the walls, and the stools and chairs…..oh perfection.
As I wandered around the shops two levels I marvelled at the style and quality of the many items on their showroom floor. There are items for every room in the home, from dining to bedroom and everything in between. All of you Restoration Hardware fans out there? Warehouse 74 has arrived.
I was particularly smitten with the seating options…..I am easily swayed by a well designed or beautiful chair and somehow end up with more chairs than I’d ever need on my wish list. Warehouse 74 has done nothing to shorten this list!
For the bedroom Warehouse 74 also has beds, side tables, dressers, and chests, all in the vintage industrial look.
One of the stand-out items in the shop were surely the Vintage Marquee signs. They come in a variety of colors, letters, numbers and shapes.
They have many other decorative items scattered throughout the shop, all unique, all fantastic…..all now coveted by me…..
Okay, okay!! I could add photos all day! You really must go and visit Warehouse 74. Located at 21578 Richmond Street North (in Arva). I guarantee you won’t be disappointed!
